Laundry Detergent

Store bought laundry detergents can be very harmful to skin (escpecially tide). Free and clear are the best options if you like store bought detergents however you can save a few dollars and make much healthier detergents on your own.

My recepie

Baking soda (1 part): Deodorizes, softens water, softens fabric, balances water pH, rinses better, removes stains.
Washing soda (1 part): Removes oils, Raises pH (breaking down organic matter)
Peppermint oil (However much): abrasive but not abrasive to teeth, cleans and absorbs toxins (has a hardness rating lower than enamel)
Add baking soda and washing soda and peppermint oil to a large glass jar, mixing as you add so it is well distributed. I like to add a lot of peppermint oil because it makes your clothes smell very good (40 drops).

Other ingredients
